In this installation , I weave a narrative that marries the intricacies of medical anatomy with echoes of Catholic iconography and philosophy. In this symbiotic relationship, the lungs emerge as vessels for grief , mirroring the theological concept of the soul's repository. As sorrow accumulates in this sacred space , the heart , a beacon of joy and life in Catholic symbolism , orchestrates a transformative process. It pumps spent oxygen into the lungs , infusing them with the essence of vitality. The bloodstream , like a sacred river , becomes the conduit for this divine exchange , rebalancing emotions and harmonizing the dual forces of grief and joy.

This work seeks to bridge the tangible and spiritual , inviting viewers to witness the alchemy where the corporeal and the sacred converge in a dance of renewal and equilibrium.
